A festive and fun drink perfect for any holiday party, cookie swap, family meal, or just to sip on while watching lights twinkle on the tree. The Mistletoe Mule is a blend of homemade rosemary syrup, vodka, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and ginger beer. It's light, refreshing, & delish. Plus, it comes together in minutes.
It's always nice to have a festive drink for this time of year. A Christmas party is not complete without one, in my opinion. Whether you're having family over, hosting a cookie decorating party, batching cocktails for an office holiday party, or enjoying a fancy drink by the firelight - add this to your to-try list.
There are only a few ingredients to this drink, and I think that's what makes it special. It's simple, yet feels sophisticated. What takes it over the top is the rosemary simple syrup. It only adds a few extra minutes of prep time, and it is entirely worth it.
Ingredients You'll Need to Make a Mistletoe Mule
- granulated sugar
- water
- fresh rosemary sprigs
- vodka
- pomegranate juice
- lime juice
- ginger beer
- rosemary springs, for topping
- lime slices, for topping
How to Make a Rosemary Pomegranate Cocktail
- To make the rosemary syrup: In a small saucepan, bring the sugar and water to a boil and add the rosemary sprigs. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, remove from heat, and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the rosemary sprigs and let cool.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine ice with the vodka, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and rosemary syrup.
- Pour the shaken drink into a mule mug or cocktail glass with more ice and top off with ginger beer, a sugared rosemary sprig, and a slice of lime.

Other Drinks to Mix Up
- Need another impressive drink for that holiday party? A Classic Sidecar Cocktail will knock the socks off of them all. It’s traditional and simple, but it’s a great drink for any occasion.
- Perfectly spiced, a homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte pairs well with just about anything. The homemade syrup is easy to throw together and uses lots of real spices and pumpkin puree. Nothing fake here!
- When in doubt, coffee is always the answer. You can never go wrong with an Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. It’s easy, non dairy, and so delicious.
- One always needs a warm beverage to enjoy with cookies - so, this Gingerbread Chai is a spectacular choice. It’s comforting, sweet, creamy, and full of gingerbread & chai flavors.
And Treats to Enjoy With Them
The Christmas and Holiday Seasons are full of treats, fun recipes, and lots of cookies - in my home, at least. Bourbon Chocolate Cherry Cookies that are packed with bourbon soaked cherries, dark chocolate chunks, and oats are always on the baking roster. They’re the perfect way to become Santa’s favorite and are a great pairing for a Mistletoe Mule.
If you're wanting a chocoholic's dream, these Double Chocolate Biscotti are the only choice. They're packed with loads of chocolate goodness and taste almost like a crisp brownie. Dunking these into a chai or coffee will become your new favorite pastime. You're welcome.
Another perfect thing to pair with a warm cup of tea or coffee are these Gluten Free Coffee Cake Cookies. They’re easy to make and are so delicious to snack on while sipping on a drink and watching your favorite movie.
