Fool Proof Salted Caramel Sauce

Never fear, this is one of the easiest caramel sauce recipes. I promise you'll love this. It's silky smooth, rich, and perfectly luxurious. No need to worry with any specific temperatures or thermometers. You can do this without either. All you need is a saucepan, a couple ingredients, and a touch of patience.

I just love caramel. There are so many ways to use it, and it just has an incredible taste. I love to drizzle it on ice cream, put in in coffee, add it to a slice of apple pie, dip fruit in it, and so much more.

Caramel is just buttery, creamy, slightly bitter and nutty, and just has a glorious richness that nothing else can compare to.

A Few Ways to Use Caramel:

- In Coffee : Iced or Hot

- On Ice Cream

- On Oatmeal

- In Other Recipes, Baked Goods, Breads, etc.

- On Salted Rice Cakes

- On Popcorn

- For Dunking Pretzels

Ingredients for Salted Caramel:

Water : This helps to encourage the sugar to dissolve and helps to

Sugar : You can't make caramel without it. A fine, white granulated sugar helps to decrease chances of crystallization.

 - Butter : Every good caramel needs butter. It adds creaminess and helps to thicken the caramel.

Heavy Cream : I have tried this with canned coconut milk and oatmilk, and both work fine. However, the caramel is runnier than if it was made with heavy cream. So, just proceed with caution based on your needs.

Vanilla Extract : Vanilla bean or vanilla bean paste are also great too.

Salt : This helps to balance the sweetness and to bring out the other flavors.
