Southern October Wedding | Macon & Bailey Moore

 

When Bailey messaged me about doing her wedding cake, I just couldn't say no. I was so excited to help bring her and Macon's vision to life. 


She and Macon had a very large guest list. So, we decided to do a huge wedding cake, along with separate cakes and cookies to feed the guests.


Their massive, three tiered wedding cake weighed 33 pounds. It is the largest wedding cake I have made thus far. I am so happy with how it turned out, and I love scrolling through these photos. 


Their wedding turned out to be perfect, and we were blessed with a gorgeous, North Carolina fall day. 


Dessert Details:

Top Tier - Red Velvet Cake with Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese Filling and Vanilla Italian Meringue Buttercream

Middle Tier - Red Velvet Cake with Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese Filling and Vanilla Italian Meringue Buttercream

Bottom Tier - Mocha Cake with Coffee Simple Syrup, Chocolate Ganache, and Vanilla Italian Meringue Buttercream


Separate Satellite Cakes:

- Vanilla with Vanilla Italian Meringue Buttercream

- Cookies and Cream Drip Cake

- Chocolate with Vanilla Buttercream


Cookies: 

- Sugar Cookies

- Salted Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies


So thankful for opportunities like these to create and do what I love. Weddings are always so special.
